We hold monthly support group meetings for persons living with mental illness and their loved ones in McAllen, Brownsville and Harlingen. An online community for teens and young adults affected by mental illness. OK2TALK encourages teens and young adults to talk about what they're experiencing by sharing their personal stories of recovery, struggle, tragedy or hope. Anyone can share creative content like poetry, inspirational quotes, photos, videos, song lyrics and messages of support in a safe and moderated space.
MHA is a national organization with local chapters (no RGV chapter) that promotes mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all, early identification and intervention for those at risk, and integrated care and treatment for those who need it. Recovery is the goal.
